Moon Patrick Norguet Designed 2022 Moon, by designer Patrick Norguet, emphasises the notion of comfort, art and a progressive character. An inviting, high-backed armchair, Moon catches the eye in any interior. The design evokes the phenomenon of weightlessness by means of imposing, compelling design language and a delicate, colourful base.

Thanks to its comfortable, luxurious appearance and an ergonomic seating experience, Moon transitions seamlessly between a variety of spaces, from lobby reception areas, libraries, hotels and offices, to your own home. Designer Patrick Norguet: ‘Moon is an invitation to comfort. I like the way imposing objects occupy a space, inviting you to take your ease. Naturally, these visual invitations must keep their promise by delivering an ergonomic seating experience. During the design process for Moon, we elevated this feeling of comfort to the highest level with great sophistication. And this is what makes an armchair truly timeless. I like objects that last over time, objects that have the ability to be ahead of fashion, so I spent a great deal of time looking for the right design, the shape, the balance for Moon – that led to this unique product and having the character that will allow it to become a future classic.’

In 2002 he designed the characteristic Apollo armchair followed by various successful pieces. Museums around the world have included products designed by him in their collections. Norguet is also celebrated for designing high-end offices, the Okko hotels and the McDonalds restaurant on the Champs-Elysées in Paris. In 2014, GQ Magazine voted him ‘Designer of the Year 2014’.
